We are talkin about Philips Brillance PowerSensor LCD !

This LCD has some sensors on it. And they are working independently from the operating system. What does it do ? The sensors are there to check if somebody sits infront of the monitor or not ! If no one is sitting infront of the monitor it reduces its brightness automatically and closes itself depends on the situation.And when you come back infront of your monitor it increases the brightness back !!!

You can configure the settings of the sensors. You can set the distance between 30 and 120 cm.

Its gonna be on the market on July 2009. And the expected price is arround €200 or more when you include the tax.
