As we know that as bloggers , there are one or two major blogengines on the market right now. We generally use WordPress if we have unix host, or we use BlogEngine.NET if we have a windows host !

The blog system that you can see on this page is provided you by BlogEngine.NET, which is coded with C# instead of PHP (wordpress) and works really well and it doesnt even need a database to make it run ! Yeah ! ofcourse you can make the corresponding settings and let it work with MSSQL,MYSQL or Access. But i prefer not to use any database so it keeps all the data in encrypted XML files. So it becomes really portable ! When you need to move your blog to another domain or host. Just copy the files and paste them there and go !

Because of that usage BlogEngine.NET is getting wider and wider.  Since blogging is very popular and Microsoft didnt have any blogging software on the market. And now they have entered the market with the software called “Oxite”. Ofcourse it works under windows platform and required MSSQL Server 2005 or above. Its open-source that means its free ! Most of the bloggers are not IT pro’s. Most of them they dont even know how to install or create a MSSQL database. So I believe this project will have so many difficulties while influencing.
